I live in northeastern Florida and I moved here from Puget Sound, Washington. I have always been interested in cooking, from the day I married. I have gone through many cooking phases: bread, pasta, no flour, no grains, all grains, French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, meat, meatless, but always come back to basic, traditional food, and try to stay out of the middle aisles of the grocery store.
I would like to encourage people to cook at home. I believe that families need to be well fed. Cooking should result in some pleasure for the cook, either in the actual cooking or the pleasure of having others eating your food. Cook on.
